Death Hag Sticker of the Day - The Wizard of Oz's Dorothy

Findadeath friend Corey Case sends us this:

Greeting from freezing central Illinois.  This is the grave of Dorothy Gage at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington, Illinois.  She was L. Frank Baum's niece that died of congestion of the brain at 5 months old in 1898.  Baum's wife Maud was extremely close to her sister's daughter because she only had four boys of her own.

Since Dorothy was the girl she never had, Maud was devastated by her death.  To try to comfort his wife, L. Frank Baum renamed the main character to Dorothy in the book he was finishing at the time titled The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.  This is my daughter Lukah and her dog Jasper paying their respects.

Thanks, Corey and Lukah (Jasper too!)
